Ryan Lusk

Chief Executive Officer

Prior to joining Branch, Ryan spent 11 years at Jackson Furniture as its Chief Financial & Operating Officer, scaling it from $100M to nearly $500M. Prior to that, he worked in New York City with Zolfo Cooper and co-founded Value Bridge Partners, providing private equity consulting services to established and growth-stage companies. He started his career at Southern Staircase implementing parametric CNC fabrication methods enabling the company to grow from $8M to $64M. Ryan holds an MBA from Duke University and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering at Auburn University.

R. Platt Boyd IV

Founder & Chief Innovation Architect
AIA

Platt is an experienced and award-winning architect with a track record of success and innovation. His frustration with the design and economic constraints imposed by traditional building techniques, fascination with the natural world and interest in both 3D printing and robotics led him to found Branch Technology and challenge the status quo.

Dan Wykoff

Chief Financial & Operating Officer
CPA, CGMA

Dan has wide-ranging experience in financial operations. He spent several years in public accounting and business consulting, managed the finances for a $45 million business unit of a cloud technology company eventually acquired by one of the world’s largest consulting firms, and led the finances and operations for a higher ed institution. Dan is a CPA and CGMA.

Melody Rees

Director of Design
LEED, AIA Associate

Melody is an award-winning designer with international experience in architecture and interior design. She holds a graduate degree in Advanced Architectural Design from University of Pennsylvania’s School of Design. Melody has a passion for streamlining the design to delivery process of constructing buildings by implementing new digital workflows and fabrication technologies.

Matt Trimble

Director of Product Development

Matthew A. Trimble has a diverse range of experience working, consulting, and teaching in the field of architecture. In 2008 he founded Radlab, an award-winning experimental design and fabrication studio based in Boston, Massachusetts. Trimble’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. He has taught seminars, workshops, and studios at the Boston Architectural College, the Wentworth Institute of Technology, the Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala City, the Rhode Island School of Design, and the American University of Sharjah. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture from The University of Memphis, and a Master of Architecture degree from MIT.

Kevin Guffey

Director of Project Management

Kevin is professionally certified in project management with over 15 years of experience leading projects and organizations in multiple industries. This diverse background includes large facility construction, synthetic turf manufacturing and installation, and utility scale solar and wind construction. Kevin has a passion for leading project management organizations through rapid growth while delivering an elite customer experience.

Steve Ziegler

Director of Software Engineering

Steve Ziegler joined the Branch Technology team as the Director of Software Engineering after garnering more than 20 years of experience in software engineering and development. With his background in both art and computer science, Steve approaches software engineering with a rare design sensibility, managing the development of enterprise applications that stand out for their intuitive layout and technical performance.

Jimmy Welch

Director of Operations
CSSGB, PMP

Jimmy is a mechanical engineer and Project Management Professional with a diverse background in lean manufacturing, engineering, operations, and project management. He brings years of experience in technical capability improvement, domestic and international strategic partnerships, and leading high-performance teams.
