How It Started
A CLEAR NEED FOR INNOVATION
Temporary shelter has been itching for a makeover. From tent camps to mass-populated shelters, current solutions are failing our neighbors who are in need of temporary shelter. Our team sat down with thought leaders in the temporary housing ecosystem – as well as people with lived experience – to assess the core problem, which turned out to be the insufficient nature of the structures offered by other shelter providers.
BRANCHSHELTER™ IS CREATED
Utilizing our proprietary tech stack featuring our patented C-Fab® 3D-printing process, we crafted our V1 shelter (pictured). It provided security and energy efficiency, and our initial partner (the City of Chattanooga, TN) reported that the two prototype shelters were game changers in the many lives of those who called them home for a month or two.
The latest BranchShelter™ goes even further, checking the boxes for building code compliance, rapid onsite assembly, self-leveling feet, and an affordable lease model.
